Amberjac Projects, a UK company based in Grantham Lincolnshire, was formed to match enabling high technologies to useful applications . We have been working solely in the field of Lithium battery technology for the last 2 years.

One enabling technology on its own is not sufficient to gain a foothold in major applications; it is the combination of several enabling technologies into one packaged solution that allows progress to be made.

One of the major advances in battery technology has been the commercialisation of Lithium-Ion-Phosphate range of cells and modules.

There are a wide range of opportunities for Lithium-Ion-Phosphate in large format and high power applications, in particular EV (Electric Vehicles) and PHEV (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicles) and significantly sized niche markets that require safe, long lasting, high capacity and powerful battery systems.

We have matched Lithium cells and modules with associated control systems to provide complete battery solutions for our clients, offering a plug and play service.

We have also linked up with our partners in the USA, Energy CS to bring the Plug-in Hybrid concept to Europe. Our first Toyota Prius plug-in conversion has been on the road for the past 2 years as a technology demonstrator for customers interested in running economical, low emission 'Green' fleets or to introduce OEM clients to the plug-in concept, with full engineering and manufacturing support. We now have a further 9 vehicles on the roads in the U.K. & Europe with early adopters of our PHEV conversions.
